FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. –
Tereza Poghosyan, M.D. has joined Carolina Regional Radiology (CRR), the
region’s most comprehensive group of Board Certified and Fellowship-trained
radiologists. CRR radiologists provide all radiology services at Valley Regional Imaging (VRI),
Cape Fear Valley Health System and other facilities in the region.
Dr.
Poghosyan is Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology. After completing her transitional internship
and her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the Medical University of South
Carolina in Charleston, she also completed a Fellowship in Abdominal Imaging
and Intervention at Brigham & Women’s Hospital (part of the Harvard Medical
School system) in Boston, Massachusetts. She earned her medical degree from Yerevan State Medical University in
Armenia.
Prior
to joining CRR, Dr. Poghosyan served as Assistant Professor of Radiology and
Medical Director of Genitourinary Radiology at the University of Virginia
Health System in Charlottesville. Her
special areas of clinical interest include thoracoabdominal imaging,
gastrointestinal and genitourinary imaging, image-guided interventions and
women’s imaging. She has co-authored
articles for Applied Radiology and
the International Journal of
Cardiovascular Imaging.
Established in 1956, Carolina Regional Radiology (CRR)
has been serving the radiology needs of the greater Fayetteville area for more
than half a century. The Board Certified and Fellowship-trained radiologists
from CRR provide all radiology services
at Valley Regional Imaging, which CRR owns and operates in partnership with Cape Fear Valley Health
System – as well as at all facilities of Cape Fear Valley Health System
(including Highsmith-Rainey Specialty Hospital), Betsy
Johnson Regional Hospital and Columbus Regional Medical Center. |
